What do you call a husband who likes to spoil his wife?

story time.

Once upon a time there was a blue-eyed, cheek dimpled, curly headed boy named Nicholas Ross Anderson. This handsome boy had a plan to go to law school but also had a 5 year old lap top that he didn't think could make the cut for all the hard work that law school has to offer. He felt like it was time for a new computer. After lots of research, saving some money, and constantly asking his wife for the "okay"--Nick made a trip to the mall for some computer shopping. He retired the HP and came home with this...

MacBook Pro.

Sure, it was a little premature to buy a computer for law school (since it was still 4 months away) and the Mac was pretty pricey but Nick wanted one so bad and his wife just loves to see that cute boy smile.

So, Paige has come to terms with the fact that there is a new love in her husband's life, Nicholas is learning to give more attention to his wife than his computer, and the MacBook Pro is living up to all of Nick's high expectations and providing lots of great pictures with it's fun photo booth..

..and they all lived happily ever after.

The End.

The Easter bunny brought me a sister.

We had a pretty big Easter weekend this year. On the Saturday before Easter Sister Nelson came home! Surprise! No, it hasn't already been a year and a half (I wish). She had to come home for an emergency surgery and will be going back to Kentucky in a few more weeks, after she has fully recovered, to finish the last 6 months of her mission.

We were all at the park for a family BBQ and a game of kickball when Brooke came walking down the path. It was so exciting!

All the nieces & nephews dropped everything and ran up to her. They missed their aunt Brookie.

Sisters aka best friends. Too happy to be reunited again.

After staying up all night talking, laughing, and showing pictures Sunday morning came...
Easter day could not have been more perfect.

>>A wonderful 3 hours at church to bring the spirit and help us remember our Savior--the true meaning of Easter.<<

>>An easter egg hunt for the babies.(we call the nieces & nephews babies..it's fine.)<<

Stone-- dressed to impress.

>>And a yummy dinner that brought the whole family together again.<<

{{One big happy Nelson family all together again.}} I couldn't be more grateful for my wonderful family...my greatest blessing.

So, even though Brooke had to come back on kind of scary circumstances we have been having so much fun with her and I'm really glad she's home (even if it is just for a little bit)...I have missed my sis. The surgery went great and she's slowly but surely recovering. It's such a treat to have her here with us for a few weeks since by the time she actually gets home from her mission Nick & I will be off to law school and Joel & his family will be in Utah for business school. Such a fun little Easter gift. :)

The King of Queens & the Anderson's hearts.

Right after we got married Nick & I really got into The King of Queens. I had always liked the show and thought it was funny but after living with my roommate, Maryn, I became a huge fan and got Nick addicted too. Our favorite after work/school activity was to grab our dinner, sit in front of the t.v., kick back, relax, and laugh our heads off at Doug & Carrie. I hate to admit it but sometimes we could relate to what they were going through/arguing about...which made it even funnier.

Well after almost 2 years of marriage and buying all 9 seasons, we finally finished the entire series. Would you judge me if I told you that I cried? Not only during the final show but it got me emotional for the rest of the night. Don't judge me. I felt like I was saying bye to my best friends. ((I know, I get waaay too attached to fictional characters sometimes.))

Anyways, if you haven't seen the show, watch it. It's guaranteed that you will be cracking up.

{{The King of Queens will always hold a special place in our hearts.}}

r.i.p.

cabin fever...literally.

A few weeks ago (yes, I'm very behind on blogging) we went up to Cedar City with my family & my in-laws for a little getaway at our neighbor's cabin. It was wonderful. There were just two major minor annoyances... just my two absolute least favorite things in the whole world...the flu &snow. blah. Unfortunately, Kirsten caught the flu and the poor girl kept her distance with her raging fever and upset stomach while the rest of us played games and hung out. Then Jim & Lucas caught it the next day and Nick & Angie had it the day after that. Not fun. But the bright side is only 5 out of the 13 people there caught it--not bad, not bad at all. Besides that (and the crazy blizzard that kept us stuck indoors for the last 2 days) the trip was great! Gretchen & Maddie came all the way from North Carolina and it was such a treat to see them! Nick was in heaven with his niece and we were all so entertained just watching her play with her 17 Dora the Explorer dolls and listening to her talk up a storm. >>Such a smart little almost 2 year old.<<

Four-wheeling before the crazy blizzard came...they got super muddy.
Nick & Maddie. She's the only other girl on the planet who can steal his attention from me...I'm okay with that. :)

Just putting all her Doras to sleep in their muffin tin beds with their tissue blankets.

Just the beginning of the blizzard. The next day we woke up to at least 5 feet of snow.

Uncle Luke & Maddy. cute.

We had such a fun time getting to spend time with both of our families all together. Can't wait for the next occasion!
